August 28, 2013, Switzerland Area was ratified by the 30th World Service Conference. In the five years from 2014 to 2019, C.A. Switzerland has grown from two groups in Geneva to five groups, widening its reach by starting a group in the city of Lausanne in 2017. Official languages are German, French, Italian, and Romansh. Three of the five meetings are bilingual.
