Arizona Area
First C.A. Meeting – “Classic Coke” – Monday, April ?, 1984, Camelback Hospital with 13 people in attendance. (The Arizona Republic, Wed, Aug 22, 1984, Section: Extra 7 – p.138)
Arizona Area was recognized as a C.A. Area: February 8, 9, 1986, 1st World Services Conference, San Diego, California. It was one of 16 C.A. Areas represented at this first World Services Conference.
Arizona Area belongs to the Southwest Region of C.A. Today Arizona Area is comprised of three (3) Districts and approximately 104 Groups. The Area holds special C.A. related activities such as, Apache Lake Roundup, Arizona Area Convention, WeTreat and the Entertainment Committee hold different events. The Area Service Committee meetings take place usually in Phoenix, AZ. The website for Arizona Area is http://caarizona.org
