1998 12TH ANNUAL Az. AREA CONVENTION
WE STOOD AT THE TURNING POINT
JULY 3, 4, 5, 1998 TUCSON, Az.
This object serves as a great example as to why proper archival care of our history is so important. This object illustrates what happens to our textiles when left exposed to extreme heat, sunlight and low humidity. The fabric fades in color, the cloth fibers dry out and become very brittle … resulting in the fabric losings its structural integrity and begins to break and tear.
