Atlantic Canada Area

On September 1, 1999, at the World Service Conference, Amy B., the Trustee Atlantic North submitted a Petition for the Canadian Maritimes to be an area. Halifax/Dartmouth Area have 4 meetings, two of which are H&I. A Motion to recognize in the Atlantic North Region the Area of Canadian Maritimes consisting of Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and New Brunswick. The Motion Carries Unanimously. Pat W. is the recognized Delegate, Nova Scotia Canada-2 votes.

The name of Area has recently been changed Canadian Maritime Area of Cocaine Anonymous, , which still includes the geographical areas of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, P.E.I. and Newfoundland & Labrador. The first general meeting of Area representatives (GSRs) was held on January 14th, 2015 in Halifax, NS. They meet on the last Saturday of the month, and all are welcome to attend.
