Before there were music streaming services, before there were MP3 players, there were music CDs. In 2001, if you were luck enough to have a car new enough to have a CD player in it instead of a cassette player, then you wanted something like this compact CD Wallet with you. This case has a zipper that goes from the top, down one side, and across the bottom. It opens up like a book, with several plastic sleeves inside for holding your CDs so you didn’t have to carry them around in those hard, plastic cases (sometimes referred to as jewel cases). This item could be used to hold DVDs as well, but in 2001 not many people had DVD players yet.
